Delete Nodes

Select node(s) to delete

Section titled “Select node(s) to delete”
  • To delete object nodes on the canvas, you must first highlight a node (by single-clicking it).
  • You will then see the delete icon (recycle bin) in the top left corner of that node. Exception: The initial node (e.g., Contact) cannot be deleted.
  • Click on it to initiate the node deletion.

Confirm deletion

Section titled “Confirm deletion”
  • Every node that will be deleted is highlighted with a red, glowing border.
  • You will see a confirmation prompt to confirm your deletion.
  • To cancel the deletion, click Cancel or the close-icon (x).
  • To finish the deletion, click Confirm.

Chain deletion

Section titled “Chain deletion”
  • In the deletion example above, three nodes are marked for deletion (Account, Opportunity, Opportunity Product).
  • As we’ve selected the Account node for deletion, all related nodes and their sub-relationships will also be deleted, as they don’t have any connection to other nodes without the Account node.
