Work with audience results

Inspect first, then activate

After you select Run, CAB opens the results view when the run finishes. You can also return from the audience home page with View Results.

  • Total Results is the number of matching records and Last Run identifies the source run.
  • Use the results search to find a record in the current result set.
  • In the table settings menu, use Select Fields to Display to add or reorder columns, Reset Column Widths to restore the layout, or the subset actions when they are available.
  • Open a row’s action menu and select Open Record to view it in Salesforce or Record Match Breakdown to see why it qualified.
  • Use Export audience results to choose Excel or CSV, encoding, columns, and optional definition metadata.

The primary action is Add to Campaign. The adjacent menu can include Add to Pardot List, Add to Data Extension, Split, Overlap Analysis, and organization-specific Final Actions. Availability depends on the result object, CAB edition, integrations, permissions, and whether results are currently usable.

For a manual campaign addition, choose the campaign, member status, existing-member behavior, optional field mappings, cleansing behavior, and—when available—Reserve a control group (%). Review the configuration before selecting the modal’s final action. See Add audience results to a Campaign for the complete workflow.

Large runs and actions can continue asynchronously. The canvas and results action bars show a compact Background operations monitor. Open it to see grouped actions, their target, progress, and states such as Queued, Completed, or Failed. Details opens the available record or error context. Only Build audience operations can be cancelled; destination and Final Action work cannot be stopped after launch.

The monitor can identify work such as Build audience, Campaign addition, Campaign split, Data Extension addition, and Final Action. You do not need to keep the action modal open while supported background work runs.

If Platform Cache content has expired but CAB has a persisted snapshot, the results view shows an information icon with Showing snapshot-only results. Search, sort, and Overlap Analysis are unavailable. You can still read the available snapshot-backed pages and use supported downstream actions.

Open the notice and select Rebuild cache to restore the full interactive result cache. CAB shows Rebuilding cache…; after a failure, select Retry. Search, sorting, and Overlap Analysis return after the rebuild completes and the results refresh.
