      Article summary

      Introduction

Campaign Audience Builder comes with a basic sharing model:

      • Private - Only the audience creator and users with "View All" permissions can see these audiences.
      • Public - Every user with CAB permissions can see these audiences.

      Setup Steps

After successfully installing the app, you can update the sharing settings so that private audiences won't be visible to other users.

      1. Open the "Sharing Settings" Tab in the Salesforce Setup.

      2. Click Edit to change the Organization-Wide Default Settings for the custom object Audience.

      3. Change the Default Internal Access from Public Read/Write to Private and click Save.

      4. Wait until the initiated sharing operation has finished (you receive a notification via email).

      5. Create a new Audience Sharing Rule

      • Label = Public Audiences
      • Rule Name = PublicAudiences
      • Description: Optional

Step 2: Select your rule type

      • Rule Type = Based on criteria

Step 3: Select which records to be shared

Step 5: Select the level of access for the users
